 If you are thinking to start a blog, create a plan. Here is what is meant by a Plan



The Plan

Make sure you have a plan before you start a blog. I did a mistake when I started a blog but I don't want other people to do it. Make sure you have a plan. Not only you are creating a blog, you are taking a responsibility. First of all, choose a niche. Niche means the main topic of your blog e.g Social Media, News, Books reviews etc. After you start a blog, you have to focus on your niche only. You could choose to write about an application, a website, a topic (Lifestyle etc) etc. Niche Ideas (External Link) . After selecting your niche, check out competitors website. Check out what your competitor site is doing and what you have to do to grow more than your competitors. For e.g If your competitor site is selling t-shirts to attract customer and drive sales, you should also start selling products in order to attract customers from competitors site to your site. For e.g If you choose Instagram as your niche, check out other blogs that write about Instagram. Then, check what they are doing. If they are selling t-shirts with Instagram Text Design printed on it, you can start selling Mugs, Cushions, Pillows, T-shirts, Phone cases, Bags, Hats, Mouse pad, chargers, Airpods, Keychain, Mask, Bottle, Pouch, Purse, Ring Holder, KeyRing, Bookmark, CardHolder, EarBuds, Plastic Tumbler, Clipboard, Yoga Mat, Watch Band, Business Card Holder, Canvas, Posters, PostCard, NoteBook, Stickers, Magnets, Towels, or Blanket with Instagram Text Design printed on it.Write the plan you are making, on a note book. After deciding product or products to sell, choose a theme color of your website. Colors that will be in your website. For e.g If you choose Black and Blue, Then your logo should only have these two colors. Your website should be only made of these two colors. Your website images should be of these two colors etc. This is a chart of meanings of color:
Black: serious, distinctive, elegant, bold, powerful, sophisticated, expensive, night, death
Dark Grey: conservative, classic, responsible, dull, somberness, authority.
Brown: earthy, wholesome, delicious, rich, rustic, warm, natural
Dark Red: rich, refined, tasty, expensive, luxurious
Red: aggressiveness, passionate, sexy, strength, powerful, assertive, vitality. fear, speed, danger
Hot Pink: exciting, playful, tropical, flirtatious
Light Pink: romantic, sweet tasting, femininity, innocence, softness, youthful
Purple: sophistication, mysterious, spirituality, dramatic, wealth, royalty. youth, creative
Light Purple: romantic, sentimental, nostalgic, fragrant
Ivory/Cream: classic, soft, comforting. natural, smooth
White: purity, truthfulness, faith, pristine, contemporary, refined, airy
Silver Metallic: sleek, modern, classy
Gold Metallic: rich, expensive, valuable, prestigious
Blue: authority, nautical, dignity, security, confident, classic, stability, trust
Light Blue: calming, patient, cool, water, contentment, trusting
Teal: serene, sophisticated, water, coolness
Green: healthy, fertile, freshness, environmentally conscious, nature, reliable, appetite
Light Green: calm, soothing, refreshing. young
Yellow: youth, friendly, positive feelings, sunshine, surprise, cowardice, energetic, caution
Orange: fun, cheeriness, sunset, exuberance, spontaneous, optimistic, speed
Amber/Gold: history, autumn, earthiness, richness, tradition, conservative
Make sure theme color matches your niche. For example. If you write about Instagram, these are the colors you should use (Colors of logo of Instagram.)
